For students, CBSE Class 11 is crucial since it lays the groundwork for all of the major subjects that will be covered in the following year. Note: In order to better align assessment with competency-focused education, the CBSE Class 11 Examination and Assessment practices have undergone some changes as of the most recent notification, dated April 6, 2023. The modifications are listed below.

Academic Session 2023-24:

• 40% of the questions must be competency-focused and can be presented as MCQs, Case Based Questions, Source-based Integrated Questions, or any other format.
• Questions with a select response format (MCQ) = 20%
• Constructed response questions (long answer/short answer questions based on a predetermined format) = 40%
